Parents Actively Building Community

What is PABC?  PABC or Parents Actively Building Community is a parent/teacher/staff organization created with a  goal of building community and making connections at Nature’s Classroom Montessori School. 

Who are PABC?  All of the families of our school are members of PABC. We also have board members in order to add more structure to our organization.  Positions are nominated bi-yearly and/or based strictly on volunteer responses.  Positions are two Co-Presidents, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  

Why PABC?  Community is a central theme of a Montessori education.  As families, it is our mission to contribute to the community of our children by volunteering our time, efforts, ideas, etc.  to creating a supportive, educational and lively environment for all of us to call home. 

*PABC meetings are on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at Antigua Real Mexican Restaurant in Mukwonago, WI.  Please plan to attend one or as many as you can.  These meetings are held to brainstorm, plan and coordinate activities and make financial decisions.  If you can not make the meetings, minutes will be posted after each meeting, so be sure to read for all the latest updates. 

We need your “active” support in whatever way you can.  Please don’t take away the A from our PABC, because without volunteers actively participating, our school becomes just "school", not a whole community.
